 ALAN WRIGHT has spent most of his life in his native North East of England apart from four years studying for a degree on the south coast – Leeds!
He was an award winning BBC Presenter for over 25 years and has been a professional speaker and writer for even longer.
In the early nineties, Alan was Chief Executive at Durham County Cricket Club when the beautiful new ground was built. His connection with cricket continues through Lord’s Taverners and he is delighted to make a donation for each book sale to a brilliant club and charity whose mission is simply stated – “giving young people, particularly those with special needs, a sporting chance.”
